Grandparent-to-be...

It sure was good to see the momma cat up and about, went to nibble a little on the cat food...slurp up a little water too. Then went back to carry out her momma duties. ;)

Hmm...I can't help thinking that we're being called grandparents....oh well, I don't mind, at least these grandkittens won't be asking us for $$ !!

It's a little hard telling whether there could be one more or not...that remains to be see...that is after I checked her stomach. :dunno:

The last one is more greyish colored--Hmm...Ash? Will that be the name?

She will get an award from us grandparents soon as she gets well and alot of rest

I forgot to add that Roadrunner did an amazing job helping the mother cat with her birth of kittens, I'm just glad he is here and I wouldn't even know what to do without him...I should call him Dr Roadrunner for now on LOL

Doctor? Hmm...I don't think I hold a :deal: (certificate/license), but the best I could be is some sort of animal whisperer...one who is a 'natural' and having phenomenal connections with animals/pets. But hey, who's complaining, afterall, I got a cute nurse assistant here--:naughty: Although, getting her help sometimes can be a hectic thing to do, simply cuz she's been flyin' and dancin' high up on the clouds lately....

my parents had 3 kittens few weeks ago, my boyfriend found them even my parents don't believe in him.. (just give him a hard time) haha.. they re blk/white kittens.

We should recognize Roadrunner as Dr. Roadrunner of furkids....

Oh my goodness, I don't know where to start but let me explain a bit about our black cat we have here, when Roadrunner and I drove pass one of the house near my little son's school about free cats/kittens, since most of you know that I'm a cat lover and Roadrunner knew it would cheer up my day, and he's right about that ...Anyways, when we arrived at the house, the man was explaining about how many cats they had which was about 14, and one of the mother had liter of kittens, but kittens weren't ready to be placed in a home cause the kittens were only 3 weeks old, had to wait few more weeks , so I told Roadrunner I wanted another cat since I heard he has 14, so I thought of adopting one of the 14 cats, so the man went upstairs to get one of the 14 cats, and brought a black female downstairs with him, aww she was such a beauty, I fell in love with her and wanted to take her home, she reminds me of the little black kitten we used to have which was a male, but he ran outside and no where to be found, so I always wanted a black cat, so we decided to take her, but Roadrunner felt something and asked the man if this female cat was pregnant, he did said no, so we believed him and went home with her, well for the past few weeks, she been eating alot, and noticed her stomach was growing, at first I thought maybe it's will be the same as my other female cat which she is heavy, but Roadrunner thought it might be a possibility that she could be pregnant, but it was hard to tell even when the man told us she wasn't..

Well look like things went in another direction here, Roadrunner woke me up this morning saying she may be in labor today, she hasn't been eating at all, been meowing off and on today, and quite in pain, kept following Roadrunner around the house and I had to PM Liebling to help me on what to do and etc, since she already have kittens and knew what to do etc, since I never actually witness a cat being in labor before, we did get information that it will take her at least up to 24 hours before she is able to deliver her babies, so we are waiting patiently and hoping for the best, so far we made her a box with blankets in it, she didn't want to be in there, but I have noticed she tried to bite my other cat maybe trying to tell my other cat to help her, aww I feel helpless :( But it's nice to know that Roadrunner has experienced seeing a cat have babies. I will let Roadrunner fill you in about what he has seen so far.

I'll be honest, I'm soo excited, and can't wait!!

  Congratulations ^Angel^ and Roadrunner on the newest addition to your family!!! I bet she is absolutely beautiful!!!!
Oh my goodness your family is going to get bigger now. I am so happy for both of you!!!! I hope to see pictures soon of your new Grandkitties!!!! Congratulations!!!!

Grandparents???

It's rather strange, last night before heading off to the land of the zzz's, I thought perhaps the cat would be getting closer to having her babies and this morning, I just had a even stranger hunch thinking of it and even 'talked' to the cat and asked: "Is it today that you're going to have 'em?" Well, sure enough, about one hour later, the cat's meowing more than I can blink my eyelids! I really didn't think too much of it until Panther (yep, that's her name) came up to me and I saw something move in her stomach and then her back leg going stiff...that's when I knew that my hunch was correct and immediately went to fetch a box and went to wake ^Angel^ up, letting her know what was going on. We put a couple of soft blankets ( ;) blankets we won't care about later on--) in the box and naturally she just didn't want to stay put. She has been following me all around or if I stay in one spot, she acts like if she's confused and head back to me. My feeling is that perhaps she'll have 3 or 4 babies.

I'm sure ^Angel^ will keep you up to date--

It's sure a nice and good thing that my lovely assistant (Nurse ^Angel^) will be helping out....hmmm...I am not too sure about that!

:) This has to be such an exciting time for both you and ^Angel^. This is really wonderful. I hope Mom is alright, and not in too much discomfort for now!!!

Now she's pushing and pushing, there's some discharge coming out... Oh boy I think I'm going to faint here..

  Oh wow, the time is coming for Mom!!!! You both are doing great!!! IT is going to be the most beautiful experience watching those kittens being born.

Right now Roadrunner thinks she taking a breather, taking a break and wants to be alone just for now, he's going to keep checking on her to be sure she's okay but right now she pissed afterall she bit him a couple of times already...

We women know that feeling!!!! We want to bite our husband's heads off when we are in labor. :laugh2:
The poor thing, she must be so tired from pushing so much!!!!

Soon I will have to leave to pick up my oldest son at school so that Roadrunner can stay behind with the mother cat...

Here is what's happening so far, she push enough to get a tiny ball of sac...but went back inside, then a little later, Roadrunner checked her again and was moving the box over a little when he heard her cried out loudly and he jumped in the tub just to be on the safe side. I noticed he's wearing his shoes too....:laugh2: At the moment, a few drops of the red stuff is on the floor, he thinks within the hour or less, she'll push even more and then the first kitty will be out.

Will be back for more details stay turning...

Please keep us updated, this is really getting exciting for you both!!! I am on the edge of my seat!!!
