Grandma is in the HOSPITAL...please... *UPDATE*

Grandma is in the HOSPITAL...please...

pray that she has a speedy recovery.
I just found out yesterday afternoon while
I was an hour away from where we live. We
went to visit her when we came back from
our day trip with the girls.

I called her tonight, she is feeling better.
She is on a solid liquid diet right now because
she has a pocket in her bowels. The pain is being
controlled right now, no bleeding.

Keep her in prayer.

smiling... H2S... H2O... H2H.. love to sign? I will have to remember that. It was very late when I wrote my reply... I was very tired ;)

Saw your thread about your grandmother... it touched me, because i were close to my grandparents.. am close to my grandmother. i hope you find comfort knowing that you have friends and strangers giving you support unconditionally.
 
I´m very sorry to hear about your Grandma. Sure, you are my prayer and thought for your Grandma´s speedy recovery.
 
I saw Grandma today, she is doing well.
I brought her some stuff she needed.
Met my Uncle and cousin there. Hopefully
she goes home soon. They were doing a scope
today. (groans) She wasn't exactly happy about that.

Pray for my Grandpa, he is at home right now.
Currently sick..again.
Urinary Tract Infection....he has to go
back to the Drs again tomorrow.

I love you guys, thanks for all the prayers
and support.
 
Aww sure, will pray for your grandfather too, hope he feels better ...

I honestly can relate to you. I am extremely close to my grandmother and I would be truly devastated when she is ill or in hospital. I have always had upmost respect for our elders - they have so much to teach us.

I will keep you and your grandmother heartily in my prayers.
 
Update on Grandma and Grandpa

Grandma spiked a fever the night before yesterday.
So they kept her in the hospital yesterday, still today.

BUT I have great news. She is off the IVs, medication and fluids.
She is now eatting solids. So, now we can expect her to be home
by the middle of this week. I went up quickly today to take the flowers
that she recieved off the respiratory unit. She was sleeping when I went to check up on her. They were really getting upset about it (making comments even while we were there ~ I could understand, but I thought very unprofessional). I saw my Uncle quickly while I was coming down. Told him that between him and I, if he needs me to take her home when she is released I would pick her up.

Grandpa is sick again, he has a urinary tract infection.
He is on meds and a liquid diet now. I told him if he needed
anything to call me.

(sighs) Been a busy couple of weeks running around, and
making sure they are ok. I just want them to get better and
get Grandma back home where she belongs.
