GOP Blocks Oil Spill Liability Bill - again

Try "mainstream media" in the search.

Have fun!

Tada!
Pardon us regular folks. Am willing to bet there are many more acronyms that you can amaze us with. Just like the military!

I followed your recommendations and the advice led me to a depressing answer. :(

Who am I supposed to believe now?

:laugh2:

I am saving that picture.

I already answered that way back then (recently that is).

Since you seem to be so fond of pointing fingers when questions don't get answered to your satisfaction, use the same set of standards on yourself that you use on everyone else: provide a link or answer it again. Answer it as many times as it gets asked.

How about that wisdom tooth? Looks like some projection going on there.

If you don't answer it, however, you cannot complain or whine about being picked on when it gets pointed out what a hypocrite you are.:cool2:

Then you need to stop driving and not be a hypocrite. Stop riding the buses, the taxis, the airplanes, the trains and cars. Stop buying plastic. And stay off of the friggin' asphalt, too! It contains petroleum as well. And no more tires for you since rubber is a petroleum product, too.

Yes, I support oil drilling, and we need more so that we can move away from unstable and unfriendly countries where we get our imported oil from. We need to increase our domestic oil output and reduce our imported oil. I also support strict safety standards and guidelines as well as improved and proper emergency response to a spill. We all learn from these valuable and costly accidents. This will not stop oil drilling just as shipping oil didn't stop after the Exxon Valdez incident.

Wave your oil-stained finger elsewhere.

No, bad assumption, I SUPPORT oil drilling with HEAVILY regulation and INCREASE of liability but you don't.

Invest in different energy, increase of MPG in transportation and import the oil from other countries.

You don't understand that I was very upset with oil spill and it was a biggest mess, I'm just fucking upset right now.

There is reason that I was very upset with oil spill and BP isn't responsibility so enough to stop the oil spill from gushers and I don't want BP to demand on federal to help, however BP should be fired from clean the oil spill and let federal handles it so expect BP to pay a huge fines.

I love New Orleans, of course and they serve a good seafood food and good Cajun foods too. I had been in New Orleans at few times and now, oil spill is a bigger mess so fishermen couldn't catch more seafood. It means demand and supply of seafood in New Orleans wouldn't be good and possibility expensive right now. New Orleans is already affect so hard after Katrina and it was a bad memory.

I'm concerned about US coastal, along Gulf of Mexico would losing the tourists because of oil spill and they have somewhere to convenience tourists that water in near Panama City Beach is clean, it was popular destination for college students.

Man, had this happened under Bush watch and took his working vacations, playing golf, and mucking about during an oil spill crisis I'm sure the MSM would have a field day with that. Where are they are?

Well, us AD members don't need "MSM" to keep us posted on Obama's vacations; we have KOKO!

That's right. Just to make sure you don't have your head in the sand all the time.

If you drive, use a train, a plane, bus, boat, or ride bikes that have rubber tires, means you support oil. Right?
There are varying degrees of support. Just because someone takes a city bus to church does not make them on equal footing with the guy that drives a Hummer, has a dunebuggy and 2 motorcycles for his weekend fun, and buys foods packaged in plastic containers whenever possible. A lot of people feel that they are ENTITLED to having fun in any way they choose, but there are repercussions from the motorized as entertainment mentality.

Guess those fishermen in the gulf are getting what they deserve, since they use oil products to make the boats move. Your description makes it nearly impossible to find someone that does NOT support oil. Of course, that was your intention, to justify more drilling. If people made an effort to conserve, avoid plastic packaging, use public transportation when possible, we might lessen our need for foreign oil. I try to make the effort to preserve the planet for the future by using less plastic, walking more, driving less.

Not everyone can live on a small island in the Pacific.

Wirelessly posted

Those against drilling believe in reusing what we already have and turning to alternatives to make up for shortages.
