Google to ban Microsoft Windows due to security concerns

It's because of largest naughty stuff come from Chinese. That's what make Google worried.

CBC News - Money - Google to ban Microsoft Windows: report

Their employees are offered two choices - Mac or Linux OS on their computer. I think Google have made a right and wise decision since the Windows have had many vulnerabilities.

Linux RRRUULLLESS again!!! Google does right thing to ban Doz

I uses Chrome and it loads faster. FireFox is my other choice of browser. I hardly use M$ Blue "e" when it's necessary if banks or certain website requires them.

Also needed for businesses that use the Office line of software.
Access, Excel, Powerpoint are irreplaceable in corporate world.

They have gone too far, and with MS's success in getting them to use office there is no way to be able to turn back for some of them, their whole database is in too big.

Use openoffice.org, they do have Access, Excel, PowerPoint, etc but CIS books at college never written that designed for openoffice.org. :aw:

Can't, there's one big reason why they won't move to openoffice for some time: zero CSR support.

Openoffice need self productive people who understand how to fix or research to find out how to do something. Average newbie at corporate job has little accounting/database PC experience these days.

Dumb people with no IT backgrounds call for help to Microsoft all the time. I seen it often at my past jobs, stuff I can just tell them how to do it if I wanted to.

Also for some of the pros they rely on the macro functions in word and excel now. They programmed a bunch of stuff with that and openoffice can't do that yet.

They end up sit there and play, never left out of house at all...

Never happen to me.

That's why I have Office 2008 for OSX. I use Word, Excel, and PP a lot for school and business.

We paid $99 for Office 2008 three keys(license). It's pretty good deal and cheaper than Office 2007 for Window in few years ago.
