i love that show, estelle getty will be missed.
 
I checked to see about if Estelle had died (from MSNBC News and a search engine I use), all I saw was "rumors" about her death. It seems that she is still alive....unless they haven't annoucned her death yet.
 
hm.. my friend told me she died .. maybe she moved to the mountains ..and just told her family to tell the entertainment industry that she died .... just a thought.
 
We have the DVD 1st season, shes funny as hell. I loved her rude remarks to her daughter for getting pregtant out of wedlock, and airhead and slutty roommates
 
Yeah, the Golden Girls was a very good show. :) My favorite of the 4 girls was Rose (the airhead). :) She's a sweet lady, but oh so naive. :) The other one was Blanche (the man crazy one) -- she was a funny character. :)
