Entire story here ---> Eleven-year-old faces charge of assault with deadly weapon
This "prosecution" of minors is getting WAY out of hand. We threw rocks as kids, and got our butts busted when we got caught...not jailed. Our entire legal system has gone to hell.
I wonder how much this is costing the taxpayers? They already had to pay for her 5 days in jail and month of house arrest. Now they have to pay for a trial.

See ever wonder why you gotta HATE THE POLICE? Cause Cops just dont care just like i got the last laugh cause i scratched the deputys patrol car and now hes gonna pay $75 for new paint job.I hope i see that deputy car in his own car cause i would scratch it and put a dent in it.

I sure hope one of these kids would throw at your property and did some damages so cop can do NOTHING about it for you.

Have a nice day!

Cops are not supposed to do something about kids throwing rocks. Theyre supposed to protect us from MURDER,RAPE,ARSON,AUTO THEFT and BURGLARY!! which they dont do very well.

Oh yea? Thanks, I will pass your comment to kids and let them know that you don't care if they would throw rocks at you. And that I would also pass to cop let them know you don't care so that they won't do anything with these kids!

Again, have a nice day!

This sort of admission can or could get you in a legal bind, meaning, it's an admission of an action you had taken and the desire or intent to do to the officer's personal car....I find this totally unbelieveable and uncalled for--this sort of 'attitude' with cops, etc. is stretching a bit too far and perhaps one day you're going to regret your actions and wordings...whether you're joking or not, any fine and respectable cop (or detective) who may see this would consider this a serious issue to address per laws regulating the internet. Furthermore, I am NOT a lawyer and I cannot advise you of what you can or shouldn't be doing, but as far as this goes, this really isn't the appropriate place to make such a comment/post here in Alldeaf....

Also, as with the event of this girl throwing a 'rock' at a boy, it is most likely that the police did protect the boy from further serious injury or even 'death'...In other words, the cops did what they are called to do by protecting and serving in the situation involving the boy and girl....

Also, I think the city use citizen's taxes for police equipments so therefore if you said the cop will have to shell out 75 bucks or so for paint is more likely that the taxes from your paycheck, income, or whatsoever a source of income.
That goes for public services such as fire dept, police dept, hospital, Emergency Medical Team, etc.

So you probably lost a portion of your tax in covering your damage of the police car.

the kids are getting out of control cuz of the parents not control them
and not seeing what the kids are doing

I was thinking the same thing of the stuff he had written in the past.....it's all documented in a PUBLIC forum, and he could get into trouble with the law for admitting he damaged property, which is the policeman's car, and other stuff he had written "in public". He has to remember that any, I don't care how many out there, police officer, detective, chief, judge, or anyone else with the law who reads those will take them seriously.

To be back on topic, you believe that cops aren't supposed to arrest kids who threw rocks? Throwing rocks at property is against the law....and there is such thing as a JUVENILE court that takes cases like these. The cops are doing their jobs according to the article.

I hope the cops arrest you either for shoplifting or damaging police property..

U are so immature!

Thats why we need to bring back good old fashion spanking! Its against the law to spank your kids with an object like with the belt. You cant even hit your kid out in public anymore cause people might report you to the department of social services. My daddy welped me with a belt when i was a kid. And i still got the belt up to 14 years old.And when mom took to the doctor when i was 14 back in 1975 i showed my doctor the belt marks across my back to the doctor and he said,,Who did this to you? i said...My daddy..Then i put my clothes back on and the doctor took my mother in his office for 15 minutes. And when i got in the car she said,,,YOU DARE PULL THAT SHIT AGAIN!!! AND YOU WONT BE WATCHING TV FOR A MONTH! And boy i know what that disscussion was about. My doctor warned my mother he was gonna call the police on her husband next time he sees the belt mark again. And thats the last time i saw that doctor.

u probably deserved it

:fruit: Years ago, when I was younger, the kids in my neighborhood would all hang out together every single day. There were times when we would have a fight now and then which resorted to rock throwing, but, not to the extent of a serious injury which required stitches. But to the point where our egos were deflated and we of course as immature children would run home and tell Mommy what our friend did to us.
What did my Mom say? "What do you want me to do, go out there and yell at him/her? Because tomorrow you're all going to be friends again, and that is exactly what happened.
Things have changed so much with children today that it's gotten way out of control.

Really?

Well, we have similar case like this here in Germany few years ago where few American teenagers dropped heavy stones off an autobahn overpass, hit vehicles and also kill Germans families, too.

What you say?

 what your dad did to you is not belong upbringing education but abuse! What your doctor did is right for want to inform police etc.

I was abused by my Dad, step-dad & teacher before. I was angry and hit my Dad and one teacher back and told them to dare to not do that to me ever again that's time I was 14 (teacher) and 16 years old (Dad). It shock them and won't touch me ever again.

Hmm, Hey Steve,

Which town and state did you scratch police car? I am going to find out if they may offer me a reward.

Pls rewrite your proper English language. Deputy car in his own car????

Mods, are you going to provide RavenSteve1961's full name if police requests you? No, I am not going to share you the reward.
