Geauga Lyric production to be interpreted for deaf, heard of hearing - news-herald.com
“The Miracle Worker,” which opens Friday at the Geauga Lyric Theater on Chardon Square, will include a new aspect for the Geauga Lyric Theater Guild.
The classic will be interpreted for the deaf and hard of hearing by Merry-Beth Pietila, Jocelyn Brindo and Debi Epstein. They are members of The HeArd, a theatrical sign language interpreting organization.
The HeArd also can be seen at The Near West Theatre, Playhouse Square Broadway Series and Children Series, Great Lakes Theater Festival and The Willoughby Fine Arts Association.
