The men enjoyed a comfortable 3-0 win over Chinese Taipei's Men's team in their quarter-final on Wednesday.
Seven-time national champion from Devon Peter Willcox (pictured above) scored his second 6-1, 6-0 win of the week as he powered past Chinese Taipei's Ta-Li Kao in the opening singles rubber.
Willcox has now dropped just two games in total in four singles rubbers this week.
Sheffield-based student and former national champion Anthony Sinclair (Northern Ireland) then maintained Great Britain's unbeaten record so far this week when he defeated Wu-Lung Chin 6-1, 6-2.
Wiltshire-based LTA licensed coaches Lewis Fletcher (Surrey) and Daniel Tunstall (Scotland) then secured Great Britain's third 3-0 win from four ties so far this week, beating Chin Wu-Lung and Lin Chun-Jan 6-2, 6-0.
After topping their four-nation round robin group, dropping just one singles rubber to China, Great Britain's quarter-final victory over Chinese Taipei has now earned them a semi-final on Friday against the Netherlands, who won both their singles rubbers on Wednesday against Australia.
Great Britain's women secured the runners-up spot to Chinese Taipei in their four-nation round robin pool on Tuesday to earn a place in Thursday's semi-finals of the Maere Cup, the Fed Cup of deaf tennis.
The three-strong Great Britain's Women’s Team of three-time national champion Catherine Graham (Lincolnshire), former national champion Beth Simmons (Oxfordshire) and her twin sister Alex Simmons will now face the previously undefeated German Women's Team in the last four on Thursday afternoon as they continue their defence of the Maere Cup.
The Dresse and Maere Cups are held on a four-year cycle and Graham and the Simmons sisters formed three-quarters of the Great Britain Women's Team that won the Maere Cup in Poertschach, Austria, in 2003.
Also in Poertschach in 2003 Fletcher, Tunstall and Willcox formed three-quarters of the Great Britain Men's Team that finished as runners-up to top seeds Germany in the Dresse Cup.
The 2007 Dresse and Maere Cups continue until Saturday 28 July.
