A high-level European delegation toured the Atfaluna Society for Deaf Children in Gaza, a statement issued Tuesday read.
The delegation included British MPs Lord Norman Warner, Julian Huppert, David Ward and Richard Graham, as well as Graham Bambrough and Ed Parsons from the Council for Arab-British Understanding (CAABU) and were greeted by the society's chairman Sharhabeel Az-Za'eem.
The tour included a visit to the Vocational Training Unit where pottery, carpentry, embroidery and other vocations are taught.
"The visit of the members of the European delegation is very important for Atfaluna Society for deaf children as it embodies the important role that it plays in providing the needed services to the disabled and marginalized people in Gaza strip," said Az-Za'eem in the statement.
