Game Emulators and Game Roms for downloading?

Hey folks.. wonder if ya have some sort of game emulator and game roms to dl and play on the computer if so?? I know one of my nephews had that on his laptop several years ago and I did play some cool games... I'd like a chance to try to dl some game roms and play on my puter.. any suggestions for some sites? I already got the game emulator but wonder what kind of that might be more suitable....

what kind of console? I have NES/SNES emu
 
Vampy I did google and also was given a link for an emulator (Gens) but didnt get a link for specific games to dl so I tried to google and find some links to try and dl some.. but a couple games I tried to dl didnt work with the Gens emulator... oh well... any ideas as to a good Game ROM site where I can dl the games for something like baseball, hockey, etc and other good games like Sonic and etc?

Careful what you suggest. I had been attacked by some bloggers about P2P site that I asked for. I asked Moderator to take my thread out before it burns down on me. :lol:

Ps: I did downloads those emulator but all have viruses.
 
Try to download the emulators from the authors website rather than a public torrent website. You should also try download ROMS from a private website, because they are safer.

Try Underground Gamer for ROMS. But, note UG is ratio driven, so make sure share..:)

Jiro.. I did try both sites.. couldnt get the specific file I wanted as there was too many with the same names in different parts.. all I need is one file (for example football) with all these stuff together rather than pieces to dl file by file.. ...
 
I've always googled it and find it. EMU is not that hard to find like the ROMS, the ROMS are more hard to find, sometimes it took me like 2 hours to find the games that I want.

I have GBA emulator called Virtual Boy Advance (I think that's the correct name) and it's an excellent emulator and works really well. However, I haven't used it for a while LOL. I used to have shitloads of ROMs until I lost them somehow.
 
I'm curious... does the specific games have to be for the specific emulator or can all games be played on one emulator? I found a few games that I did dl but could not play on my emulator.... I just want to know before I dl more games if so...

You have to use the specific EMU to play the games. The EMU is just like a consule, like if you want Super Nintendo on your computer, then you will have to find Zsnes or something like that.
