Gallaudet Protestors Arrested

Come Monday (tomorrow) with the alumni being there I'd expect it to go up to maybe 350 ish.

The 148# was only IMmed to me.

I really dont care much for the old deaf guard terrorists at least theyre getting tagged and marked for the rest of their life.

It's war against the old deaf guards and this is the big price for it.

ALL protestors arrested already bailed out last friday late night (mostly 2 am or after), I saw few videos and pics that I knew who is got arrested and their names are not on the list, so I am sure more than 135...
 
6th st gate is reopened and ALL protestors will doing human chain all over sidewalk with arrested # on white plain shirt, so for sure it will tell excalty # by today morning at 6 am... The idea was by some protest leaders cuz they want to see fac, staff, and more who isnt involve or not support protest to make them feel guilty... So, I will keep update on this situation after 6 am if I possible get some more comments around campus...

To make people feel guilty for not being involved? That is so wrong. Some people have the right not to be involved and shouldnt have to be forced to protest. If people join the protest just because they feel guilty then it would defeat the purpose of the protest and be for all the wrong reasons.

They really should not have been arrested, this is not Kent State, Ohio for Chrissakes !!!!!! Hearing people's universities are much more dangerous when there is un-rest, aggressive protesting and rioting going on. Deaf universities are pretty much more safer than that. SMH at the Gallaudet University board, they should have known better. I am happy I didn't go to Gallaudet for my university education.
 
if it is true that 148 students got arrested .. does that show something? sigh!

I hope Jane will step down and accept the defeat that she is not the one we wanted for our university! :(

Thats what I think... Cuz I saw someone said many students who got arrested, will use plain white shirt with number of arrested, for example, Chris Corrigan (Mayor of Tent City) is first person arrested and his shirt will be #1... So, many deaf bloggers can know whats excalty numbers of arrested...

Too bad, I wasn't there. My shirt would be # 69th arrest. My tee shirt print " 69 " :D

New England Tent proester will have one soon. We may involve to support students for my next 4th Deaf generation.
