From scrooge to a nice person

I had dinner with Grandma tonight. We were talking about one of the guys at Grandma's retirement community. He was always mean and rude to everyone. Other residents told him he was rude!! A server told him off!! However in the last week, he was nice. Some residents started talking to him. Others chose to keep their distance, period!! I was glad to hear that he is nice now. I realize that not everyone will talk to him. Grandma talks to him now that he has turned around the corner. Keep it up .

Didn't work for my Grandma.
She promised to help pay for my dad's cremation recently last year Novemeber only to turn around 1 week later and say that she needs "all the money to move back to Michigan!" so I ended up footing the whole $3,000 bill which my sister helped paid for some.

And the kicker? She has over $75,000 in the bank and gets a $1,750 per month retirement funding from her late husband.

Some older people get "cranky".....and some of them are down-right rude, too!...(met a few)....am hoping I'll still have my sense of humor. Gotta' laugh at life sometimes, ya know?
