We just got a large delivery of Ubuntu Linux CD's and anyone who wants them can easily private message me their mailing address and specify PC's or Mac and will get free full install and live cd set from us for their machine.

This is a genuine operating system that dont cost anything to the user.

Let's not be put at the marcy of the beast called Micro$oft.

Rich, nice of you to offer; I've a Mac with the latest OS (10.4.3) so how's your offer better than what I have and being not all that computer-prolific, I gotta ask if these two OS's can reside side by side in my machine in harmony?

I got Ubuntu CD "Hoary?" for free.. But it doesn't include KDE.. And I'm aware there's another OS is called Kubuntu which is included KDE but no Gnome.. I have been using Gentoo for awhile since I can choose whatever I want any applications for Linux! :) Like what I like to load is Gnome, KDE, Xfce, etc.. Depends on what flavor of X Window manager, I wanted to use! :D

I already have Knoppix 4.0. It's work great and no need install. You can run knoppix without hdd for computer.

Well, it depends on whats your option in portage.. gnome or kde as default..

I did try running Ubuntu Linux on CD on the Mac few months ago, it was real nice and works pretty good. :)

Have you given CentOS a visit? :) Fedora Core 4 is nice, too, as I'm using it in my computer setup.
