Free High Speed Broadband
Hello to all!
We are a proposed new VRS service that is offering FREE high speed broadband and a web cam to all deaf people in the United States who are in an area where High Speed Internet is available. This free high-speed Internet offer is for one year. After that, if our company continues to be successful, we would go ahead and continue paying for your Internet even after one year. We currently have a partnership with a major national Internet cable company, which has made special effort to train its installers to be sensitive to the needs of deaf people. However, if our partner cable company does not offer internet service in your area, then we will either have another company come and install high-speed internet for you, or if you already have high speed internet, we will even pay your bill!
And don't worry; you can continue to use any other VRS that you currently have. We know that it is very expensive to have to pay for internet service, and we also feel it is unfair that if you are deaf that you have to pay so much money to have high-speed Internet just to be able to make a simple phone call! No catch, no hassle.
Here at Life Links, we are in tune with the needs of the deaf community because many of our staff are relatives of deaf people or have hearing limitations themselves. (My parents and grandparents are deaf) Unlike many other VRS companies, we have tons of new and special features.
Some of them include:
1) We can accept calls from VP users as well as computer users.
2) You can use AIM service to contact us and place a relay call. SN: aimlifelinks
3) We allow for free international calls!
4) Many of our friendly staff members are fluent in other languages beside ASL and English. We can provide interpretation from Spanish to ASL and vice versa. Other languages too!
5) Our response time is 10 seconds rather than the industry average of 20 minutes.
6) We work with Macintosh computers as well as Windows.
7) We provide video mail
8) We plan to provide a choice of male or female interpreters
9) We plan to be a 24/7 service.
10) You can do free multipoint conferences with as many as 4 participants without an interpreter, i.e. jams sessions.
If you want to take part of this wonderful and absolutely no cost, safe deal, all you need to do is send an e-mail with your home address and zip code and TTY/phone number, if you have one, to: mailto:margo@lifelinks.net
She will then respond to you and give you further instructions on what to do so that we can have your Internet and web cam installed for you as soon as possible. Thank you so much and we hope to hear from you soon!
