What do you do with foreign coins? I always end up with Canadian coins. You can't spend them here*, but they're money, so it feels weird to just throw them away. Maybe if I knew someone going to Canada, I'd give them to them, but I don't. Maybe a cool thing to give to a young person, but there are no young people in my life, an arrangement I've carefully orchestrated. Also, it's never enough to bother with, like finding out if there's somewhere to get them converted to U.S. money.
I am trying to clean up my living space, and a handful of coins sounds trivial, but there are a million things around here like that, and cumulatively they're crowding me
*Well, obviously, some people do, otherwise I wouldn't end up with them. I don't want to try to sneak them in with a purchase somewhere though - I don't have the temperament for that.
