For deaf children: South Florida Sun-Sentinel
I have a deaf 2-year-old daughter. I would like to thank the Alliance for Families with Deaf Children and the Soref Jewish Community Center, both on Sunrise Boulevard. These two organizations made possible an early childhood education program for deaf children so that moms like myself could put food on the table for the entire family.
This program has two full-time signing teachers and integrates hearing and deaf children. Parents interested in this program should contact jennifer@affwdc.org.
