Next week, Monday May 15th I will go to my Aunt's House to help out Horses Farm.

It is in Goodrich near Flint.

So this is kind Travel thread for me can someone point to different place to post this?

Anyway Since I will be first deaf in country, a babe in the forest, would like to know more in deaf community in Flint or near wherever. Deaf Events as well.

Heath, Fei Ku lives in Michigan but, I bet she wouldn't sure where... But I knew alot about it because I went few places and heard about it.

Flint have one of Deaf Coumminuty, it's in FAD which it's near by Flint Airport.
Detroit have around three of Deaf Coumminuty, it's at the bar, and another two, Im not sure where.
Lansing do have one of them, but I don't know where it is.
Ann Arbor do have one but I guess it's at the mall.
Novi do have one of them, it's at the resturant, named Buffalo something near by the movie.
And few more, I could ask my close friend about it because he's president of Deaf Coummunity and he could know more about it.

For your information- Heath and McFly, I used to live in Michigan but not anymore.
 
Hi Sweetheart. I know that you are living in Seattle, Washington. That is why I referred Quinn McFly to Fei Ku because she still currently lives there and would be able to know more about the area and local Deaf events. I also figured you might say something here too so I am not surprised. :) :thumb:

Yeppers, but I knew where abt Deaf Events in Michigan, not just in Flint. I lived in Michigan for 21 years. And I'd been in deaf world for almost 19 years. I'd been in hearing world also because of my family and some of friends, too. But, Fei Ku could know more than just one in Flint that I knew. But I could ask my close friend about it because he knew more abt Deaf Events in Michigan more than I do. And, my friends still have been letting me know abt Michigan's Deaf Event during I live in Washington which they knew I live here.
 
I think the FAD Deaf club would be a good place for McFly to start.

Could be. But, I don't know if McFly is over than 21 years old because it's sort of the bar also... I went there few times before I became 21, they wouldn't let me enter in there because Im under age so I did go there twice when I am 21 years old.

From reading McFly's orginial posting. Chances are he is under age so he would have to ask the Michigan school for the Deaf to ask for Deaf youth events that he may enjoy going to ? Plus I noticed he lives in Canada by looking at his avatar so I think that for him going to his Aunt's house here in the USA maybe a big deal for him ?

I haven't see for my aunt in long time, no need for me to hunting for apartment, rooting out roomates etc. BAH! pain in neck. :smash:
 
i live in michigan currently

and i alson live near ann arbor

i don't see deafies at the mall in ann arbor often i guess they stop the events at the mall i was there yesterday
