Econundrum: 5 Houseplants That Clean Your Air | Mother Jones

Just saw this and thought I would throw it in. Hmm, I have a couple houseplants (Spider) but will get a couple of those on the list. I do not exactly have a green thumb so I will need to be sure to plant them correctly, not just plunk them down. I have a friend who has upper respiratory problems and she swears by the plants she keeps in her home.

I love house plants, and have many Areca Palms (inside) and Spanish Palms outside....and I love Ferns, especially the Rabbit Foot's Fern. Outside, I have several huge Boston Ferns and Spider Ferns too.

It should be noted that Asparagas Fern and English Ivy are toxic to cats (being a cat owner, I always check that any plant that might enter my home is safe for my little grazing cows). The other three are non-toxic.

Interesting! I didn't know that. :ty: for the link, Beowulf!

I have a lot of cactus, some are in the kitchen and some are in the livingroom. All different kinds of cactus.
