Fired Caregiver's Trial On Abuse Charges Postponed - wjz.com
A trial for a former caregiver charged with leaving three blind, deaf and developmentally disabled men locked in a car has been postponed.
Brian Fleming, of Fairfield, Pa., was scheduled for trial Thursday in Frederick County District Court, but it was postponed because Fleming chose to have his case heard by a jury.
MedSource Community Services fired Fleming, 47, after he was charged in September with three counts of neglect and abuse of vulnerable adults.
Police say he left the vehicle parked outside a Frederick diner while he ate lunch.
