Has anyone used this expression? What does it mean?

In English, "Finish Dry Hot Dog" does not mean anything.

In ASL, and you will mostly see it utilized by ASL purists, it means, "I'm so sick of this" (or insert applicable equivalent), "bored with this" (insert applicable equivalent), "baloney" (insert the applicable equivalent).

Hope this helps.

Here's one example: "I am so done (bored, fed up, etc) with this (insert what it is), I am going to divest myself of this baloney!! (insertion of more spicy words is usually the case). Lol!

I never heard or seen this expression which country did you see this expression used? Perhaps google it and find out.

This is good ole' American ASL! Many hearing ASL experts might not even know this but most hearing CODA's would if they were raised in a traditional ASL household.

Lol, I have seen it before during my high school, especially from my teachers. Remember we were in school and none of us and the teachers were allowed to say offensive words. Baloney (the sign of hot dog) was often used to substitute the word BS.

I'm not so sure about the "finish dry" part, though.

The "dry" part is an old ASL sign for "bored" (or the appropriate applicable equivalent).

OH i know what it says.... Like this Finish (the sign for five fingers vertically flicking in the air) Dry (bored where the sign under chin across with finger crooked) Hot Dog (sign for baloney) - Is that make sense to you?

Thanks Tousi, I thought this was some kind of idiom in the hearing world. I finally see what it means now thanks for helping me out.

Thanks everyone! I thought it meant, "i'm done w/ this." but wasn't sure. Thanks for input.
