I couldn't think of a really good title for this post that would show how cool this new service is.
It's called SameCell and it is really cool. Right now it is only available for BlackBerry, but might be available on Windows Mobile devices soon.
You install this application on your BlackBerry by visiting www . samecell . com/setup (no spaces) from your BlackBerry. Once you install it, you activate it and then you can invite other BlackBerry users from your address book. Once they download the software and accept your invitation, you will get an email when that person comes within 3, 6, 9, 18, or 30 miles of you. This is a great way to meet up with deaf friends, interpreters, family and friends when you end up in the same place.
