I hope they get to keep her, too because she's probably past the point where she can fend for herself in the wild.

That said, I don't advocate for this to become the norm.....
 
I agree that they shouldn't have kept her but it's been 5 years and why take her away when they might just have to put her down? Stupid.
 
what happened to the mother..i think it be cruel take it away now..maybe after weaning they should got advice about release or pet zoo that been sensible thing to do but to late now
