Anyone here have fave dept stores??

Mine are Target, Kmart, and Walmart since they are more affordable than Sears or Nordstorm or JcPenny or Macy's or Marshall Fields...

If something are on sale at Marshalls Field then I would buy..

Problem with dept stores such as Marshalls Field doesn't meet plus size needs.... they only have clothes for thin/skinny people..

My favorite, Filenes, is closing. I always could find what I wanted there. I like Macys too, and they are buying Filenes, so it shouldn't be that bad with it being gone. I wonder if Filenes basement is gonna go too?

On the other hand, I love Target too, which is in a slightly different classification.

--I like Target and Walmart for inexpensive items.

--I like Dillard's, Nordstrom, Frank and Meier's, etc... for clothes, though I usually like to explore their clearance racks first and buy clothes on sales. Recently, at JcPenney's, they sold a lot of clothes like 50 to 75 percent off. I was amazed and bought some clothes for like 8 to 12 dollars each.

--For some reason, I do not like B3 (Bed, Bath and Beyond). It just seems to be so full of junk packed in all one place, but sometimes they do have good sales on certain items. I love going to William and Sonoma's for food and cooking items.

--I like going to the Body Shop and Body and Bath Works for soap, lotions and fragance products. Again, I usually buy on sale, and when I receive coupons from them. Sometimes I do find their prices to be a bit high.

--For books and movies, I tend to order online, but I do love going to Borders. I used to work as a special orders clerk at Borders back in New Jersey, and loved it. I would put books on hold for those special employee discount days, where we could purchase books for 30 percent discount IN ADDITION to our regular 25% discounts. That was great, and I have way too many books back in New Jersey! Of course, I no longer work there, so I have to contend with sales, bargain books and online discount stores.

--As for holiday-making, I rarely go to a travel agent. I like to research around on my own on the internet, and read reviews in the local newspaper for travelling. I have learned a lot through this process, and it's been really interesting. I love to look at www.tripadvisor.com which has a lot of reviews from everyone about places, such as hotels, restaurants, rental car companies, etc... You name it, they have it. It's good to know what other people think of it before just going ahead to make reservations.

I like Target and Wal-mart because they have good stuff for reasonable prices.
I also like Sears because they have lot of good quality automotive tools, but they're expensive, ugh! I go to Shucks or Auto zone instead cuz I'm not a rich dude.

WalMart is one of the stores I go to often, so this is a favorite of mine. :) I like shopping there because things are inexpensive there. :)

I like Wal-Mart, Target, and Macy's. I can't afford much at Macy's though LOL Even though I don't have any reason to buy them, I always love looking at their fancy/prom dresses.

;) I like JC Penney because they have good sales for children's clothes. Most of the time I will either go to Kmart or Walmart.
I will go to Macy's if they have a good sale.

I prefer to go Wal-mart most of time... If suppose seen the adversting on bargin sale compare wal-mart and Zellers. I'll go for Zellers and to buy some of items.

Espically my older son prefer store at "Stitches" which there always bargin sale 2 items for one price. That cool!

TARGET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wal-mart is too junky!!!!
I wonder if Filenes basement is gonna go too?
I think they said it wasn't.....I agree with you....Macy's is turning into Bland National Brand USA. They got rid of Jordan Marsh's, and now Filene's....yeah it's not well known outside New England, but what's fun about going to the same store that's just in a different city?

TARGET FOR MANY THINGS whoo

i like to shop at kohls if they have big sale of course

I don't have any favorite department stores, but I go to Wal-Mart, Target, and K-mart.

Walmart, for target, there isnt a target here. Well not that i know of anyway.
