Facebook...for the unborn

Exactly. Projecting onto the fetus. Very strange, indeed.

Wonder what's next? FB page for a dude's sperm and a chick's egg?

"Dad went to the drugstore and got some condoms. Wonder if we are going to get laid tonight?..."

"Oooo...mom's shaving her legs...must be going to get us some!"

Sounds like time to make a few facebook pages.

It is just me or I see a hand-like figure that seems pet the girl's face?

I see people posting pictures of ultra sound photos and the stages of pregnancies, Such as a photo their belly each month.. what they buy.. etc... all the time to share on Facebook. Doesn't have anything to do with ownership or owning a child like a pet.
I view them as excited parents that wants to share it with others.

Especially if it's their first child I can certainly understand their excitement on wanting to announce the news. Who doesn't? I'd do it differently in my own way. Everybody does it differently. And so I'm not in the position to "tut tut" and be all high-minded at the soon to be parents on how they want to share the news and excitement of their baby on the way.

Announcing the news to family and close friends is one thing. Putting it up for a bunch of strangers on a social networking site is over the bend. And then add the fact that the parents are attriibuting their own thoughts to an unborn fetus...

I hope someone is around to make sure these parents are stable after the kid is born. They obviously have problems setting reasonable boundaries.

Would you change your mind if you knew they were registerd Democrats?:laugh2:

Yet another thread to ignite more controversy, which was what was intended.. If we don't totally agree with the OP's (regardless of who is the OP) posts, then we're condemned, contrived to be meanies, ignorant, judgmental, whatnot.

Whatever. (Meaning I won't even give my opinion, regardless of whether I'd like to or not. It'd just be construed as something else. What else is new here these days?)

ahh..it is just FB. Let the parents have some fun. If their child resents it later, then it it is payback time.

Looks more like the baby's right hand in a thumb sucking position and the left hand by her left chin.

 No. Not her hands. "Hand-like" something on side of her face. Look so close at side of upper left corner. :)

Look closer. The "hand" that (as Karissa said) "seems to be petting the baby's face" is bigger than the baby's own hands...way too big to be the baby's.
