Eerily similar to the hearing parents who constantly blog about their deaf child's journey into deafness.
Something just a little off regarding parents who display their children like pets or dolls.**nodding** This is just a tad disturbing.Something just a little off regarding parents who display their children like pets or dolls.
I want to drive a stake through my head every time people refer to me as "Riley's dad." Or when people expect him to be a submissive slave.
Just venting.

Joey resents that! :P
I see some parents as being happy and proud of their children (or soon to be).
“I cannot believe I am on CNN and all over the world!”
“IKEA is fun, mom is doing the shopping thing again. What is she going to get me now?”

Proud of what? They they can have sex and conceive?
I actually have framed ultrasound pictures of my granddaughters, but I can't imagine anyone else would have any interest outside the family.

Yeah, that is a bit different. Perfectly normal. Can't say the same for starting a FB account for a fetus, though.![]()
um...
it's delusional... it's like parents playing with dolls....
Exactly. Projecting onto the fetus. Very strange, indeed.
Wonder what's next? FB page for a dude's sperm and a chick's egg?
