Hi Buddies


Just like to know everyone point of view abt laser treatment and contact lens ?

I am plannin to have a eyes Laser treatment so i can see without havin glasses, the Consultant say i am qualifed to have one, he also said there is other way i can have instead of laser is contact lens as there is a new lens that last 5 year, leave it in ur eye and go every 5 year to exchange it, and need a yearly check up to make sure everything ok, of course they require sum specialist to put those special lens in my eye with special equipment that wont fall out for 5 year sumhow..

Why you feel uncomfortable with that concept?

I wouldn't mind doing that within 5 years or so.. I hate wearing glasses and I can't wear contacts for they really irritates my eyes out.
 
I have a couple of friends who got the laser treatment and they love it. I didn't even notice that they had the laser treatment until a couple weeks later when they told me.

What are the differences between the laser treatment and the 5-year lenses, money-wise?

I worry that they can always make little mistake and lead you being blind.
 
the CONCEPT of having a surgery in my eyes-- ahh noo thanks... they are too precious to me, as a deaf person!!

ahh, i had compare the price different on 5 year contact lens between laser treatment,, laser treatment cost me £800 pound per eye, (possibility risk of blindness wat i hear from other people), 5 year contact lens cost 300 pound( no risk so far). so i feel is best for me to go for contact lens so i wont suffer sum risk than laser!
 
Ahh. I don't need it since I don't wear my glasses often. Mine like 25/20 i think.
