I went to the musical "Finian's Rainbow" last night. I wasn't really familiar with the story line before going. One of the characters was hearing, but non-verbal and used sign-language. I was really impressed that the actress playing the role actually knew ASL and used it during the performance. I was absolutely enthralled by her performance. Her signing was beautiful and when she was on stage, she is the only one I watched.
