Hi to all,

I don't know if any of you tried PDANet software, install one for EVO and install one for PC then download HTC NDIS driver as well and manually install it as network adapter. I got it working and am currently using it while typing. It's kinda a bit complicated but I managed to find a way to install it anyway. Also it installs USB driver for HTC so it'll work with it.

It's much faster than my former Blackberry Curve!! It's not turned on to 3G yet in the Network Connection setup. It don't have 4G shoot!

It also have SMS Agent that allow you to use SMS messaging (text messaging) from phone to PC. I find it so cool,

1) you can type text faster on pc than phone's touchscreen keyboard.
2) convenience to browse network and chatting on SMS alternatively.

Neat!

I was doing it for fun of it so that in the future, I would be able to use it anywhere which I've use BB Curve as PAM previously

Here's speedtest from Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test. It's not that much

I will see if I can turn on 3G in Network Connection setting. Hope It'll go faster... Will let you know the result.

Good info! Thanks for a shared. Yes, I know about PDANet. I used it for Treo 700p in 2006.

Bye Bye Sprint mobile hotspot.. Hello, PdaNet! (My friends miss my MiFi)

I am going to try Bluetooth DUN connection. I have tiny usb Bluetooth dongle. I know using Ubuntu make things easier to connect wirelessly thru Bluetooth connection.
