....even petrol prices!! I went to get some morning coffee and Bacon & Egg roll for breakfast at work. I saw something interesting in the morning papers... it said that the petrol prices will definitely fall back to its 1.20 per litre in the coming weeks! YAY, I am so looking forward to pay cheap amount for my little car after all. I hope it will remain for a long period of time. They also mentioned about the interest rates cutting down by Christmas.... What a relief eh.

Its a sign that the global economy is shutting down. Think it might have something to do with Bush leaving office in January? (Thank God he is, he's already fucked the world for every future boy and girl.)

at least, it is a reilef for us and once for all! :D

I would LOVE to see gas below $3.00/gal USD. That's the AUD equivalent of ????

See attachment - Have a good read! Text highlighted in Yellow

Dixie - thats 75 cents per Litre in AUD dollars.

$US120 a barrel isnt bad at all! But hope that gas stations dont use this dramatic drop in price to price gouge their customers to make extra profits.

At least, we can now afford the fuel at a reasonable price! :D

yep. I would do cartwheels if it got below $USD2.00/gallon.

But people are realizing when they consume less, gas prices drop. I just hope the trend continues as it is.

It would put more money in our pocket books, and help the environment as well.

When it got above $4.00USD, people just could no longer afford it. they parked their big SUVs, and bought smaller fuel efficient cars. In metro areas people started taking public transit and carpooling with co-workers. As well as bicycling or walking to work rather than driving where possible.

And it would be a BIG waste of big SUVs sitting on the grass, waiting to be used! :dizzy:

I noticed that some ppl are walking/riding bikes in middle of nowhere to stores and else.. wow, they came long way just like i did ;D

I'm glad I'm not alone (few times, I went to walmart to get something and walked back to dorm and it took me 6hrs)

sooo... U would save a lot a lot of money if u know how to use ur legs!

if you are trying to go someplaces that are far away from you, its ok to use car.

Yeah, I agree with yuor points.

or if it is just not logical to do so - IE I only live 6 miles from work, but because I have to leave before daylight, I simply drive the 6 miles. otherwise it would take me an hour to an hour and a half to walk to work. Plus I have to go pick my DD up from daycare as soon as I get off work.
