Ever skip a meal?

I was at the cabin for two weeks with 4 days worth of food.
I managed well.

Ive went a few days without food before. The situation was so strange though.

I do on the flip side have plenty of body fat I can rely on for a very long time.

Way too many. Not by choice. And it has wreaked havoc with my health and also I am quite fat now from related PTSD.

I am way against skipping meals. :(

Some years ago I fasted with water only for 30 days. It was a spiritual matter. The cravings for several days - 7 to 10 days - become extreme but after that your body settles into a routine and though you may feel far less energetic and even weak, hunger really seems to go away. You never lose the recognition that eating would be a welcomed.

30 days!!! Omg! Most people will die between 40 and 60 days no food.
I know it was spiritual but that seem very danger thing to do.
I wonder if someone 30 days no food would be left with some type of permanant damage to their health? :hmm:

It is very bad for your heart! THe body has to get protein from somewhere.

The longest I went without food is a week, that because I had a food poisoning. So I live on drinking Lemonade for a week.

Some days I do skip breakfast but then that's not very common. Other times I skipped dinner is that cause of I had a very huge lunch. :)

Well, your tempting avatar might be inspiring an audience to pig out ;) I drool every time I see it!

yep, I have skipped meals a few times...it's normal...no one can NOT miss a meal...it's just impossible for their whole lifetime.

Like SG, it was about a week due to being sick with a violent stomach virus and flu at the same time. I think that was during my senior year of high school.
