Ever heard of Stone Cold Creamery?

I went to Cold Stone for the first time in Orem last Friday with Deaf258, and tried it out.

It was really excellent. I had them mix some Amaretto ice cream with cherries, macadamia nuts and white chocolate chips. It was really good.

Deaf258 had cake batter ice cream with brownie, almonds and chocolate syrup. It was very rich for me. Good for Deaf258.

 Thanks for taking me, Deaf258.

Just last week, Kootchie and I saw Carvel ice cream cakes at the local store!! I am guessing it is hitting Utah already!

;) No problem!! I jokingly called it: "The Rita's Ice of the West"!

Yeah Coldstone originated in Tempe, AZ, then they opened 1st franchise in Tucson, then moved to CA (Camarillo). I had my first taste of it about 8 years ago in San Luis Obispo, CA. I thought it was cool, and then later they started popping up around. I think people like the versibility of choosing own flavors.

I like it, but I can't say I love it -- sometimes it takes forever to decide :D
