ETF on att isn't prorated?

I found deafclimber's post and said att is prorated on ETF (early termination fee) but I got fully $175 on bill statement, prorated is just like reduce of $5 every monthly.

oh well it is pro-rated, but it depends when you started your contract. The AT&T announcement came in May 2008, so it is probably for contracts starting from that period onwards. I started in May so if I want to cancel, I pay $175 minus $5*3months (June, July, Aug).
