So I had an ENT appointment yesterday - I've been putting it off for about a year, and I figured it was time to buck up and see what they've got to say.
Good news first: I'm not losing any frequencies. Everything they threw at me, I heard. So there's that.
Less good news: I've got speech recognition issues with both ears, with my right ear being quite a bit worse.
My ENT said something about a membrane wall being thinner than it should be, and that multiple ear infections as a child could have something to do with it, but my dad says I didn't have very many, and they weren't really bad, so... I dunno.
Related: The doc prescribed something called Lipoflavonoid for the tinnitus. He says it's been shown to help with a fair percentage tinnitus patients. Anybody have any experience with that?
