If you currently or have sold on E Bay before, I'm sure you will understand how the rating system for sellers work.

I've sometimes wondered what would happen if I sold a car on E Bay. See, few years ago, I sold a vehicle on E Bay and I met the buyer at train station. We then drove to my house and the buyer paid me, then took the car home. Worked out fine there.

Nowaday, not many people will want to pick up buyer(s) at train station, bus station or even airport.

Now, if I sold a car and I told the buyer I am not going to pick you up from bus station, the buyer will eventually complete the transaction. However, I may get a poor rating from buyer because I did not pick up buyer(s).

I've not have this problem before, but I think quite often, you know.

Do you ever worry about this kind thing if you were to sell on E Bay??

I can't comment because I have not sold cars on Ebay. I would prefer to use Craigslist or another local classified ad system, and sell to someone local.

I have sold books on Ebay, and that's simple to ship. So I have not gotten any negative reviews for shipping by mail.

I've only sold small simple stuffs (books, movies, video games).... no need to meet buyer in person.

Ive met people in person to save on shipping costs from Ebay. Usually car sellers are more willing to meet in person because cars are a big investment - people are more likely wanting to see it in person.

I have found the shipping fees on a lot of items at eBay to be nothing but outrageous.

I truly love free shippin on eBay. If I see a sports card I really want and free shippin. I buy it without second thoughts b.c of free shippin. I only sold one item on eBay and it was Babe Ruth bobblehead I got for free at minor league game. I wish I hadnt done that but oh well.
