DVD guide for deaf - Liverpool Echo.co.uk
LIVERPOOL Cathedral has produced a DVD guide for deaf visitors – using British sign language.
The Great Space BSL tour – believed to be the first of its kind and being launched at the cathedral next Wednesday – can be played on a personal DVD player, so deaf people will be able to look around the cathedral at their own pace and explore its history.
Doing the signing is Cathie Green, who is deaf and lives in Liverpool.
She said: "I hope it will encourage people to learn about the church."
The concessionary DVD tour price will be £3.50 per person.
