He's right about -- path isn't correct, try use images/pix.gif instead use same folder. Because if you put all files in one same folder, it'll make it more complex, waste time trying to find file that you are looking for -- so to save time is to seperate files in each folders like images folder, www folder, and so on -- that is what I do, it really save my time by doing this. Illustrator is trying to help you that's all. That is what this thread is about, isn't it? :D
