Dubious business names...

Heehee :giggle: I once saw a business van with the name Johnson & Dix on the side of it, and thought omg really? whose idea was that? maybe y'all should have used your first names like Mike and Ben or whatever.......

It's not a business name or anything but I knew a plumber who's name was Rusty Pipes. No BS.

I don't know them at all but have the feeling that they are both well know locally and thus no one will give it a second thought.

Back in the 1950's in Centralia, Illinois two doctors with the real last names of Snow and Frost had a joint practice. I can't think of Dr. Snow's first name but Dr. Frost's was Jack. We used Dr. Frost.

this is what the UNQUALIFED interpreters calls their business , right here in my hometown, and they are 'communicators' yet they fib off telling everything they 'interpret' and what's worse the Police and hospital board have them on contract! AND...the deaf community is not happy because too often they breach confidentialiy, even on purpose....
here's the photo of their business name i took it on the mobile phone...

its on the bottom of the list, see what they call themselves!, very misleading, it should be illegal, but Deaf people have no authority on NZSL...
bastards

Maybe in their town, but I saw this in my town, a small town I'd lived in for 15 years and never saw it before. BUT I wasn't saying they wouldn't get less business because of the name........and it doesn't make it any less funny.

Remembering when I was kid, from when I was 6-8 I lived on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in NC. Now at the time I didn't realize the humor of this, it wasn't until much much later when I found out what a "johnson" is that it became hysterical, what with his the guy's first name. All the bases are name after someone. Anyway, for you deafies that have been deaf your whole life so you wouldn't know how Seymour is pronounced....it would sound like see more johnson. Poor guy.
