Doorbell Etc

For the past 10 plus years I have been able to get by with a regular doorbell, fire alarm, phone etc. My hearing has started to decrease a great deal. Without my hearing aids the phone is next to impossible and even with I have some trouble. Also when I am home I sometimes take the hearing aids out to give my ears a rest or whatever. I am starting to get a bit nervous about if there is a fire or something. Also the doorbell is becoming increasingly hard. I of course have been watching my TV with captions for a while. The rest is kind of new area. Does anyone have any suggestions for a phone. . .I am not too up on what relay calling is and how it works. I have an iphone and have lately been relying increasingly on text messaging. I am looking for any and all input. Thanks!!!
 
I have a doorbell that flashes the lights, I'll have to look up the company that does it for you, but I don't know if they're the same nation-wide or not. =/
