The buildings themselves would serve as the memorial. It is important to show the rest of the world (especially those terrorist bastards) that we are a resiliant country, that we bounce back with a vengence, and that no matter how hard they try to knock us down, their efforts are fruitless because it only makes us stronger. I am all for Donald's vision for the towers. Maybe Banjo should send Mr. Trump a letter suggesting non-mirrored windows for the building to protect the bird population. Whatever is built, it should be bigger and better than what was there originally to send the world the message that we are a strong country and that 9/11 has inspired us to fight back, rebuild, and improve our economy. The attacks on 9/11 killed thousands of Americans, but it also brought us together as a nation, and that is NOT what the terrorists had intended. What could possibly be a better memorial to the victims of 9/11 than to remember them as the inspiration for bringing together this country?
