Dogs are dyed into Tiger or Panda Bear

People do this to their cats too as well. Yes, it looks cool but what about those animals? Is the dye safe? In order to make the fur white, bleaching is needed - is that safe? Probably not so why make the animals go through something like this?

Really stupid.

I bet I may be unpopular when I say I think they are adorable!

Hopefully it was non toxic dye.

It's probably not just the art, culture also involved.

The tiger is known for the Wang (王) symbol on it's forehead, which has meanings with King or emperor.
For panda I'm not sure the word but I think it meant good luck and it also kills evil spirits. :aw:

I bet they will be hearing from peta soon.

I think it is cute!! Hope the dye was non-toxic.

Wondering how did the dogs handle it.. hard to keep a dog still..

Wirelessly posted

I saw that link this early afternoon, on the another place I went to.

Personally, I don't like how they did. I think it's stupid...

I think it is cute.

No different from Americans dying poodles pink.

Right, that's what I thought too. Pretty sure I've seen celebs with pink or multicolored poodles. :dunno:

Imagine the dog this guy has:

I think it is animal abuse! I know my poodle hate to have his fur cut into pom pom on his tail and I do not have any pom pom on him ! This is only for the pet owner selfish ego!

What's up with all the screaming?

They look pretty adorable, but I do wonder about the safety of the dye and bleaching. I wouldn't call it abuse though, but it would be if they knew the dye was harmful.

:hmm: The women I could get with a panda cub........I am certain many would fall for it.

I even have my first practical joke planned. "Hello Mom......I got really drunk last night and did something stupid.......I need to hide something at your house.....do you have any bamboo"

I would not mind having one that looks like a Tiger.

Can you imagine a burglar face when something that looks like a tiger lounges at them when they try to break in.

It would seriously make a good watchdog!!

I doubt the dye is safe if it made in China ! Dog are alway licking themselves and they will ingest the dye and this can be very harmful to them. And the dye can hurt a dog skin . I think is abusive to cut a dog fur to made it look like something it not! I have seem how frighten some dogs are just getting groomed. I would like to take the dog owners and dye their skin pink with purple poke a dots!

Dogs need to be groomed sometimes. If it was done on a regular basis, they should be fine with it. If they aren't, then something's wrong with the owner or the groomer.

Dye can be safe as long it comes from natural sources with no harmful toxins.
