On one show, they did carry a non-lethal type of semi-auto looking rifle, not sure what it is called. This was when his daughter almost got hurt trying to stop the perp.

They also have Tasers, too. Prior to that, they only had Mace, then went and got pepper ball guns, then Tasers, which are a very recent addition, but they use them as a last resort
 
yeah its a paintball gun, Id kick him swear in the nads and keep running...lol
a friend of mine met him and he is a real ass too.

all of above are useless when apprehending a violent/desperate criminal.

when you're on the run, it's very unlikely that you're packing a heat. no money. wondering how long till they encounter an armed perp... or maybe they chose only perps not likely to have guns :dunno:

Well ... recently, a violent felon escaped from police pursuing him right near my house (he ran into the woods behind my subdivision). He then stole a utlitity truck, rammed into a police car, then stole the weapons from the police car.

He was found several days later nearly 100 miles away, after having dumped the vehicle he was driving and stealing another one.

In rare cases, some convicted felons have gun rights restored.

keyword - "rare"

it depends on what kind of felony you committed but if it's relating to bodily harm... pretty much impossible. zero chance. if a person committed a federal felony such as insider trading... and applied for gun protection for the fear of his life because of his cooperation with FBI leading to arrests - the judge will probably granted him a right... or not but chance is one in thousands.

He's getting on in years...true...can draw a map on his face...(those wrinkles)....Pot=bellied...and Beth, her knockers are so huge, BUT, bet she could knock some people for a Loop!....:giggle:...*thinking of Grummer's video*....Dog has been there and done that....seems to be a compassionate man also. Could be it's time to hang up those steel-toed boots he wears?

Well, let's see....he was the only man with the balls to go after serial rapist, Andrew Luster in 2003....I'd say he can do whatever he makes up his mind to do. Absolutely no one made an effort to extradite Luster from his luxury hide out in Mexico - not the U.S., and certainly not the Mexican "authorities"...and if it wasn't for Duane Chapman...Luster would probably have more victims to his name and still be evading arrest in style. Give credit where credit is due....
