Dog Rescues Deaf, Blind Dog - Local News Story - WMUR Manchester
Fulton is a dog that is both deaf and blind.
Monday night he wandered away from his owners in Rye.
For almost 24 hours, Fulton roamed 190 acres of woods. His owner, Bill Hurley, was worried no one would read the dog tag that explains his special needs.
After hours of searching, Hurley's daughter Elizabeth set out with her dog Zamboni.
"Zamboni acted funny, sniffing into the air. I went to see and there was Fulton curled up in a ball in a patch of mud," said Elizabeth Hurley.
Zamboni is credited with rescuing Fulton. Both were treated to ice cream after the ordeal.
