Same here , there would be noway I would let the dog go back to the owners and I would fines the owners for animal cruelty for bringing the dog on the hike and then leaving her to die. I am glad the poor dog will be OK and hope she will take a better home.

If I am an owner of that dog, I wouldn't leave her until we get help. Abandoning her is no no in my book. Owner is so stupid for leaving a poor dog like that.

There was report on the news about this dog and she was on the mountain for 8 days before she was rescued . The owners should be fined and send to jail ! They did not leave and food or water for the poor dog! They just left her to stave to death!
