Some example include:

1. I may load up a riding lawn mower at 10 pm so that I can take it in at 8 am for a repair.

2. I may load up my bike after 9 pm so that I can deliver the bike at 8 am the next day.

3. I may want to move a big snow blower from one end of garage to other end of garage at 11 pm in evening.

4. I decide to move a futon from living room to my bedroom at 11 pm in evening.

5. My neighbor moves in next door at 10 pm. They chose to unload the U Haul at that time instead of waiting until the morning.

I'm deaf so I would have no clue. I wonder if you have been bothered by those types of sounds?

Well, right now I'd say no. If I had my hearing aid out you could hammer nails in the walls of my bedroom at 3 am while I'm sleeping and I wouldn't care. But if you have close neighbors, where you're sharing walks, some consideration is due. Just don't do noisy crap when people might be sleeping like 9pm or later. I don't know why loafing bicycles would be overly noisy though.

If it had a bicycle bong bell like mine does, I have to be considerate, as there are rules in place for using that.
