you says, "it doesn't matter whose fault it is". but i think more fault with tobacco company than people. yes, teenager people think that ciagrette looks sexy and cool even look mature but it's not. everywhere in the magazines, movies and TV, etc. same things with beers too. well, no one is perfect.
 
More likely its people's fault for smoking..it is
a matter of CHOICE, really. If people decide to
smoke cigs, do illegal drugs, drinking
alcoholic stuff, its because they CHOSE to do it,
period.

So dont blame the tobacco and alcohol industries.
Its people.

I think it is easy to point fingers and blame the tobacco company for allowing people to smoke when we all know that their products can be very dangerous to our healths, if people would stop buying cigarettes then tobacco companies would not continue to manufacture their products anymore.

Peer pressure may be the reason for teenagers to start smoking because they do not want to feel left out. (That's how I started smoking when I was a teenager)...

Well sorry, I have to disagree that if the cigarettes was banned, then nobody will smoke it. It's impossible to ban anything completely, other good examples are the marijuana, meth, cocaine, etc. People still use them even though they was already illegal, that applies to the guns in the area where it was banned too, people still have the guns even though they was illegal. So this fantasy dream of tobacco vanished from the earth is kinda silly to me, no offense..

Agree completely, I don't blame on my cigarettes for my smoking habit, I blame on myself based on my choices to smoke.
 
yes it does bother me when they smoke argh! i dont like smell smoke or marj.. oh well!

I haven't smoked in 2 whole weeks!! I am on chantix and it really really works. I recommend it to everybody who smokes. Painless, totally painless to quite and I already saved over $100!! I can't believe it. :P

Well, you know tobacco and alcohol companies are in
existance, solely because they are to make M O N E Y,
so therefore, dont blame them for producing products,
It is UP TO PEOPLE, whether they want to smoke or drink.

I can see some of you wanting to blame the companies, you
looking for excuses, really. If ALL OF US PEOPLE WOULD
BOYCOTT THESE COMPANIES, THEN THEY WILL GO OUT OF
BUSINESS AND SO THEREFORE, NO CHOICES!
As for illegal drugs, well, its illegal and thats why we have laws
to repel/control them, but it is sort of losing battle. It is still up to
people whether they want to abuse drugs, same thing.

:applause: Congrats!! It is a wonderful drug and it has worked
wonders for my hubby. Also he has saved a lot of money, as you
all know the cigs prices has gone up more now. He used that money
he saved to buy some new fishing poles, accessories, and a new
chain saw!
Again, congrats, Newidme!! keep up the good work and you will feel
so much better too!! :thumb:

Exactly, the tobacco companies nor the cigarettes ever jump on the people and make them to smoke, only people pick it up and lit it, it's people's fault.

That's probably true.

In fact, a tobacco company owns some cereal companies, candy companies, some general drugs, some magazines, and I can't remember what else. The tobacco company is supposed to focus on positive things and get rid of entire cigs forever. Now, the company has no feelings for people.

Well if they don't make the cigarettes anymore, then the smokers will probably grow their own tobacco plants and make their own cigarettes, probably even sell them which will hurt our ecomonic because our money will go to the gangster. I'd rather to have a real tobacco industrial.
 
ok , image if if if smoke become a law..as it ilegal, then almost everyone will become crazy as murder do! they will ride high emotion! whoa! crazy !

drug become illegal in law.. then it wont work for our people plm.. rme ! look at holland.. they legal marj in coffe shop.. smart move! no wonder they control thier crime rate.. it keep low! smart gov!
also they accept drug thing.. taht end up people plm is about to sovled!

in usa they dont accept drug thing.. .. that end up crime up and hurt many good people who do marj! rme!
that sad.. if if if usa people accept those, then it will go down or less plm! i feel sure for that..
oh well!

I think that if you really want to smoke yourself, then you could make your own small tobacco field in your backyard. That would wise to save your money. I don't know if it is legal for you to do that as long as you don't run a tobacco business. Isn't that a good idea?

Probably that would be better, and that would be an organic! :) I think that should be legal as long as we don't sell or give to the minors. I know some people just grow it for flowers, not smoking it because the tobacco plants have beautiful flowers on the tops.

i agree..my husband is one of them. Boy, it is not fun when he is trying to quit. He goes thru painful withdrawals and his personality changes. Very very difficult for those who are addicted even though I have never experienced being addicted to cigarettes.
