Hopefully this info might help someone. Mine has been low for quite awhile but I never thought anything bad about it. Well it can turn serious rather quick if your Vit. D stays low for a long period of time. I was shocked reading the symptoms of a vitamin D deficiency.

I've been on prescription Vit.D which is 50,000iu once a week. My level was only 9 should be 34-100.

Chronice Farigue
Migraines
High blood pressure
Severe muscle and joint aches
Insomnia
Irritable Bowel

Etc. etc. there are a lot more. We need to sit out in the sun at least 15 minutes a day with no sunscreen too.

Last check was Sept before my annual physical. I'm at 32.
I'm taking calcium supplements w/Vit D per my dr's instructions.

Hope you feel better soon Angel.

Angel, My endo ordered that test along with others. I should know the results within 2 weeks. I did not realize it can cause a lot of problems also. I do hope the Vit D supplements help you.

I take 50,000 units once a week for 4 weeks, and then once a month for 5 months, and repeat cycle.
