Dr Phil said "Grummer: Is it now that" able people" are disabled in the "disabled rights counter ideology" which handicap is that?

Is this something new in Sociology?
Different to say the least.
"
well its not new at all.
it is not a 'handicap' how the heck did you come up with that?

there are 'oppositional ideology' it is a known term in sthe field of sociology.
I just stringed them together for sake of convenience to understand the stance but i dont wish at this point to expound further, But you all are free to discuss what does this means... Im then happy to respond but wont promise id respond to everything, it is a seldom explored especially when discussing Deaf culture...

Grummer: I am NOT Dr PHIL. My user name is his computer code to his website: drphil. My real name is Bill.
I just checked the index in my Sociology textbook: no listing for "oppositional ideology". I am aware one can discuss culture within the "lens of ideology" if one wants. Sociology-Hagedorn, HRW Toronto Canada.

What is " disabled rights counter ideology"?

that is only ONE textbook, I GO the library AND i have been in many sociology lectures, submit many essays. Just because it isnt listed in your book, it doesnt mean its not part of sociology. Sociology, like psychology and anthropology, it covers a WIDE range of areas and a wide range of how "issues" are perceived. Be it critical, statisitcal, qualitative in depth, or economic solution of one sort or another, and so on. Lately though we have seen many 'market solutions' in which sociologists makes all sorts of observations and arguments.

I have been the public library many times over the years. There are many books dealing with various segments in Sociology. Up to each person to determine the validity of what one reads. Correct?

To more relevant matters re: do signing persons make up a "special segment of what group"? Why do latedeafened persons who consider the use of Cochlear Implants to remaining "deaf"? Are they "real deaf"? Is it a personal choice? Are persons really "free"? Discussions continuing?

Does one" style of thinking-high/low/?" really a worthwhile classification? Should one alter such?

Then there is slight matter of "secret deaf values".--is this a variant of Gnosticism? Further consideration re:deaf militants being the totality of the deaf community. Who says so?

More thoughts in Sociology-slightly different than say Marxism, feminism etc.
