Did you get order Nintendo Wii?

I check Wal Mart, it out of stock. :( So, maybe I go out store. :D
 
Nah, I'm not get one until next year or so.
 
Fiancé is bringing his home tonight. I'm looking forward to playing with it!

Lucky you, I'm thinking of standing in line for one this Sunday. Of course, that's only if I'm absolutely confident that I'll be getting one. A lot of stores here didn't take pre-orders, they were very limited for some reasons.

First come, first serve is what they're going with this time.

At least the place where I'm going to, there's at least 4 spots.

Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Electronic Boutique and Real Canadian Superstore, all within the same parking lot... so there's a chance I may get one. Even though they're shipping 4 million units worldwide but it's bound to be sold out on the first day!

Already come out? I tho it will be come out on this Sunday... Some stores released little early like Circuit City started selling PS3 yesterday, it was supposed to selling today...
 
I have seen Wii, the guy who works GameStop did demo what the Wii looks like.. Cuz the guy wouldn't let me or other customers to play for some reasons..? :| I realized that isn't really GREAT to see when he controls like I see things on HDTV (Samsung) are moving sometimes the guy had to keep move with control repeating till finally so it seems its not perfect to me.. And the video isn't that great too.. Also, I did ask the GameStop guy to see what he thinks.. He was kinda hesitating so that's how I got feeling a vibe about Wii of course, that's really disappointed me and decided not to go on camp out cuz I am still not convinced yet.. So, I thought it's best for me to wait and see until how things are going, etc.. Also, I'd like to see everyone's opinion about the Wii.

Of course, hopefully there'll be none of problems or negative about Wii! Good luck for you guys who plan to buy Wii, please give us review!! :thumb:
 
Yea, I went to Best Buy today to check out PS3's news, same time check out some Nintendo Wii, only I saw demo, no one can play it, oh well... I hope it would be good then I will get it one!

That explains.. But wait a minute, I remember one of the guys on other forum, he's reviewer.. He got Wii for like 2 months ago. Also, the other guy who works for Cheat/Walkthrough already got Wii 2 months ago too cuz he's doing it before release the book at the same day Wii on sale.

That's different, it was probably a developer's kit. For people who design guide books, they need to acquire the games and the console in advance though in many cases, the games are often unfinished when they work on the guide books, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a developer's kit because the final model was still being fine-tuned till a few months ago and all of them are now behing shipped with a firmware disc as a last-minute tweak.

Yeah, they had a "lottery" at his company for the Wii pre-orders (they had a deal with Nintendo) but he thinks it was kind of fixed in his favor since he's lead engineer there. He didn't get a PS3 himself but the company just got one and they're having a party this evening so everyone can try out the systems.

He's bringing home Red Steel and hopefully Zelda if he can find it.

Oh yeah, I'm aware of that. Though nobody in a line-up got shot at in Canada today.

I don't think it was ever this bad since the Cabbage Patch Kids came out in the 80s. My grandmother bought one for my sister when it first came out, she had to be escorted to her car by a personal guard because of the crazies trying to get the dolls. They could had done that with the PS3 launch, I read that there was a huge fight because only 35 people were going to get it at one store somewhere in the USA.

Crazy folks out there.

LOL, you're right! I remember all that (and thought it was insane because they were so ugly). People don't change, just the technology.
 
If you got extra one of wii. I will pay you 250.00. :D I wish to get order so bad. :D
