Case in point being the defenders in Kerman, who on personal judgments claimed the lives of their victims by proclaiming them to be Mahdor-ol-dam, and instead of receiving punishment were found innocent and set free by the court system.

Reading some articles I don't think the word means "death". I think the word is a variation of "mahdur ad-damm" or "mahdur ol-dam". These seem to mean a person who violates Islam and must die. I would not agree with any idea like these.

Use "mahdur ad-damm" in Google and you find a lot of crazy ideas also. If you vote because of these I guess you agree with the Ayatollah and others who decide people must die because against Islam.
