that had a magnificent, wonderful, amazingly good interpreter?

I went to Walt Disney World a couple of years ago at Christmas time and saw a show called Candle Light Processional. It was the story of the birth of Jesus and I cried while watching the interpreter use her hands, her facial expressions, her body, her soul to silently tell the story. My eyes were glued to her. I wish I knew her name to write her about how beautiful she told the story.

Anyone else?

I finally learned the difference between a translator and an interpreter.

Translation is word for word.
Interpretation goes beyond that and used facial expressions and body movements to relay the full depth of what the deaf person is saying. Am I correct??

Yes, you are correct when it comes with ASL interpretation. In our Deaf Culture, that is what we do in ASL too. That help us understand what we are trying to say, even if we are telling a story. :cool2:

Yeah, I think I may have seen a play or 2 that was interpreted. Cannot remember what they were.

I think one was "King and I".
